those resorts look amazing! i think the bulgari resort might be my favorite out of everything on this list!
I’ve been to Ubud twice and reading this has brought back some lovely memories. As someone who appreciates boutique hotels, I’m so attracted to the Kayon Jungle Resort and Samsara. The decor is so authentic and makes me want to be there now!
We stayed in one resort for a week and used that as our base to explore Bali. But we decided that next time we would look at another resort. And maybe do two in different areas of Bali. So good to get a long list of options. I like that there are some great luxury hotels – both with the big brands and with local companies. And even a luxury glamping option! It might be hard to choose with so many great looking resorts.
Wow! These resorts are amazing! Anyone of these places would be incredible to visit! But Sayan just looks amazing. I can only imagine how the price tags to these resorts…but it would be worth it! I envy people who are able to visit the Maya Ubud Resort and Spa. Bali is for sure on my bucket list. Thank you for making me crave this journey more!
Bali is still on my list. I dream of seeing this island. So I will gladly use your article when planning a trip. You described the resorts very well. Everyone will find something for himself. I would love to stay in Bulgari Resort Bali or The Four Seasons Resort Bali. The pool in Viceroy Bali is fantastic too!
When I was in Ubud, I stayed at a boutique resort. I wish I knew about these ones, I could have stayed at one of these properties. Even though I liked all of these, I specifically loved the Four seasons one. That looks stunning and I will make sure I have a look at that stay option the next time I visit Bali.
Good accommodation is always a mood elevator although when traveling we hardly spend too much time there. However I am very particular about the hotel or resort that I choose. These are some great resorts that you have showcased and it would be so difficult to choose one over the other
That is a lovely list of hotels in Ubud, each one better than the other. I stayed at the Sthala and I assure you that it is one heck of a place. From my room, I could see the beautiful Bali swing and they even have breakfast in the pool where they float trays of food for you to enjoy. BTW, the pool is an infinity pool facing a small stream. Having said that, I would not mind a stay in Samsara too, It seems to be as luxurious and stunning as the Sthala
