Best crepes in Paris galette café

Galette Café is an excellent place for a quick bite before or after your visit to Musée d’Orsay. The crepes are of high quality and, delicious, highly Instagrammable. If you want the classic galette experience, try the Galette Complète with tomato compote. It’s a perfectly crisp and chewy galette covering delicious ham and tons of cheese, with a delicious runny egg on top. The taste reminds me of chunky marinara but with a hint of sweetness and tartness. It’s a crêpe you’d never expect!

Try also the galette tartiflette: a big glob of potatoes and cheese on top of a cheesy galette. It was as if someone expedited the full raclette experience and put it on a galette. It was a little divisive at our table, but I was a massive fan since I love cheese and potatoes.

If you are in the area, make sure to stop by Chez Imogène and try the following:

Tuna salad: The tuna was very different from those I have ever had – with a strong fish/ocean scent. The vegetable was fresh; along with the sauce, it was a delightful dish.

Prosciutto crêpe: One of the best sellers on the menu when it comes to savory crêpes.

Egg, ham, mushroom, and tomato paste crepe: Wonderful! Poking through the sunny side-up egg, it flows around the crispy crepe and with the mushroom and tomato enhancing the flavor – very nicely done.

Vanilla ice-cream crepe with caramel: The crepe skin was crispy, and with the ice cream + caramel, the whole thing just melts in my mouth; very pleasant to eat on a hot summer afternoon.
