2 – Grand Palais

In one short block of Avenue Winston Churchill lies a collection of three exuberant art-nouveau examples— Pont Alexandra III, Petit Palais and his brother facing the Grand Palais. This small part of Paris feels different from the rest. The Grand Palais was built as part of the 1900 Paris International Exhibition, the world’s largest international fair. The 54,000 sq ft house hosts art shows and booksellers exhibitions as well as the ice rink during winter months.

3 – Place de la Concorde

Despite being a sprawling square, the square is not much more recognizable today than the ancient wetlands of the city center. The Jardin de Tuileries and the Champs Elysees are located in a four-story building that Louis VIII built in 1755. A statue of Louis XV was erected, and a new square was named Place Louis XV. During the 20th century all this royal splendor had vanished as French Revolutionists took down a statue to replace it with Guillotines.

The area Madeleine is a middle town that mixes residential and business areas around Garnier Opéra and the Boulevard Maleherbes. Faubourg-du-Reoule is a predominantly residential district that has a similar social environment than the district of Terne (17th) and Chaillot (16th). This place is home to several banking firms including insurance, banking and lawyers. People converge in cafés, cinema rooms, trendy stores or car window lines along the Champs Élysées and Place Charles De Gaulle. It changes its appearance around a large museum and the chambers.

6 – Avenue des Champs Elysées

7 – Petit Palais – Musée des Beaux-Arts

It is facing the Seine and directly across the road from its larger sister, the Grand Palais. Founded in 1900 by the Paris-based International Exposition, it now houses the Musée des Beaux-Arts Museum of the Fine Arts. Renovated recently, the Petit Palais has been rich in wonderful paintings from the past. Visit the stunning winter garden of mosaic gardens with fountains and colonnades, or relax outside during hot days and enjoy refreshments. A few weeks ago it hosted an exhibition of Oscar Wilde and his time in Paris.

8 – Parc Monceau

On the northern boundary of the 8th arrondissement in Paris stands this elegant and attractive park created by painter Carmontel in 1778. During this time, Monceau was outside Paris Gates. The artists filled the gardens with unusual architectural structures like pagodas, pyramids and even Roman temples. The Parisian Park Monceau was annexed to the town by Baron Haussmann during its renovation during the mid-19th century. The building includes ponds, bridges, and other unusual elements collected throughout Paris.

9 – Statue of Charles de Gaulle

When you come down out of the metro at Station Champs Elysées Clemenceau (in front of the Grand Palais), you find yourself at Place Clemenceau, named after famous French president Georges Clemenceau who helped France rally during WWII. Jacques de Gaull. That is the French leader who took charge of France during the Second World War on a square named after the leader of France during World War I. There are still no weird features there but there is an enormous bronze monument to Georges.

10 – Gare Saint-Lazare

Gare Saint-Lazare is the only station railway station in western Paris and is situated near the border between the 8thArronment and the 9. Various impressionist paintings are found there including Monet who wanted to capture on canvas steam clouds from engines. Afterwards head to Gare St-Lazare with trains to a host of destination destinations. It was a surprise that the station is the third most visited in Paris, with more than 300 trains.

The retail section of Ave Champs Elysées is primarily for tourist shops. Avenue Montaigne is for couture as good a work as the Louvre was for the artist. When in Avenue Montaigne, don’t forget to visit the Louis Vuitton Flaghship store. It’s always filled with visitors and you may have to wait in crowded lines for the entrance to this place, but it’s worth it for you to walk around in the most stylish clothing you ever have seen.

12 – Palais de la Découverte

Paris’ hands-on science museum, the complex Grand Palais has been one of our children’s favorite cities for over 10 years. The Planetarium has lots of educational exhibits to learn science while kids play at the rat school, ants farms and many exhibits about moving dinosaurs, ants, and other insects. ). The Palais de l’Écouverte is closed for restoration until 2024.

13 – Marly Horses

The entrances to the Champs Elysées in Paris are flanked by two sculptures depicting horse-raising. The Cousteux brothers designed them at the Château de Marly, Louis XIV’s residence. After the Revolution destroyed the chateaux, the statues moved to that place. Today the statue is an imitation of one. The originals were moved in 1994 in La Courmarly in a glass-covered courtyard in the Louvre.
