If you are wondering the best restaurants and where to eat in Coron during your stay – look no further! The article below explores some of the famous foods and restaurants while in Coron, Palawan
Apart from its majestic limestone cliffs, stunning lagoons, beautiful resorts in Coron, and having some of the world’s best diving and snorkeling spots, not many know that Coron has some of the best restaurants in Palawan. For this reason, tourists traveling to Coron are growing year after year, reflecting the number of hotels and restaurants these recent years!
I remember visiting Coron for the first time in 2013 when there was hardly anything in the town proper. Whenever I had a day where I wasn’t island hopping, I would tend to go to the same restaurant because of the lack of options available.
Today, there are more restaurants you need for the time you are going to spend in Coron. In this article, I list six restaurants that I recommend for you to try while in Coron.

Best Restaurants in Coron
1. The Best Pizza in All of Coron: Trattoria Altrove
Address: Rosario Street, Coron Town Proper
Hours: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m and 5 to 10 p.m.

Suppose you are wondering where to eat in Coron for the best pizza and pasta, head over to one of the most popular restaurants in town, Trattoria Altrove. This restaurant also has a branch in El Nido and Cebu, where there’s a long wait time even in non-peak hours.
The pizza and pasta are simply delicious and authentic. The dough is thin but not too crunchy – just like how I remember pizzas in Italy. The dough is made on the spot, too! Plan on sharing the pizza, as the serving size is enormous! I also love the pasta at Trattoria Altrove. It’s perfectly cooked, and the sauce is exceptional. Also, plan on sharing the pasta because of the big-serving size.
You will also enjoy the overall atmosphere at Trattoria Altrove. The ambiance at the upstairs dining is rather classy with the varnished wooden floors, and their no-shoes policy keeps things very clean. The little candlelight on the tables also adds a nice touch!
2. The Best Seafood Restaurant in Coron – KT’s Sinugba Sa Balay
Address: San Augustin Street, Coron Town Proper, Coron, 5316 Palawan
Hours: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

If you are wondering where to eat in Coron for the best seafood, look no further than KT’s Singuba Sa Balay.
This lovely restaurant is located just off the main road. The setting does not look like much from the outside, but that won’t matter once you are sat and eating. Everything we ordered was exceptional and for a high price!
Overall, everything on the menu was excellent. We ordered coconut fish, squid adobo, sizzling squid, red curry with beef, the set rib plate, and mango smoothies. Both dishes had excellent flavor, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I recommend this place to anyone looking for seafood, barbecue, or tasty food in general. Don’t be surprised if you come back to this restaurant more than once!
3. Best restaurant in Coron with a romantic setting – La Sirenetta Restaurant & Bar
Address: Real St, Coron Town Proper, Coron, Palawan
Hours: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

La Sirenetta Restaurant & Bar is the perfect restaurant if you want to enjoy a delicious meal with breathtaking scenery. The restaurant’s location is perfect for couples who want an intimate setting and a romantic sunset with a drink in hand.
We tried the Tagbanua tribal seaweed salad, also known as sea grapes and kinilaw raw vinegared fish. Both meals tasted fresh and were well presented.
4. The Best Baby Back Ribs in Coron: Santino’s Grill
Address: Coron Town Proper, Coron, Palawan
Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Out of my many visits to Coron the past few years, I made sure to visit Santino’s Grill at least once!
Everything on the menu is as tasty as they look, and budget-friendly to boot The baby back ribs here were delicious. It’s tender, moist, and falling off the bone. Santino’s Grill is one of the best restaurants I ate at across all of Palawan.
Plan to share your dish as the servings are huge! We also had the fish of the day, sopa, and the beef kare-kare.
5. The Perfect Western Comfort Food To Go: Buzz Express
Address: Burgos St, Coron Town Proper, Coron, Palawan

Buzz Express is the perfect restaurant in Coron if you have an appetite for a western taste. We all had burgers with homemade french fries. Although the food was exceptional, the price is a little higher than in the other restaurants in Coron. On the other hand, the drinks were quite cheap.
The Buzz Express is partly a coffee shop, partly an Internet cafe, partly a drinking spot, and partly diner. The coffee is excellent as well as their tasty pastries!
6. Restaurant with a view and vegan menu in Coron: Levine’s Eatery
Address: Coron Town Proper, Coron, Palawan
Hours: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Levine’s Eatery offers some of the tastiest food in Coron with a view! We ordered the squid sisig and the beef and broccoli, before exploring their vegan items. Even if you are not vegan, don’t miss out on the stir-fried vegetables and the vegetable curry. They have at least ten vegan dishes on the menu and are among the best vegan and vegetarians we’ve tried in the Philippines.
The view is lovely as you get a high up panoramic view of Coron.
